The transparent method

Rent follows the room weights you agree on. Fixed bills are divided equally because they do not fall when somebody travels. Usage-linked bills follow person-days, so someone present for 10 days receives one third of the usage share of someone present for 30 days.

Agree before using the numbers

This is a neutral calculation, not a lease rule. Decide together which costs are fixed, which genuinely change with occupancy, whether an empty room still owes rent, and how deposits or damage will be handled. Put the agreement in writing.

Names and amounts remain in this browser and are not sent anywhere.

The result is a suggested private split only. It does not change any tenant's obligations to the landlord, utility provider or other contracting party.
